Nico Terol continues to lead the 125cc class, but his Bankia Aspar teammate has Terol firmly in his sights. Terol ended the second session of free practice with just seven thousandths of a second advantage over Faubel, Faubel closing the gap from this morning. Spanish prodigy Maverick Viñales was 3rd fastest in the afternoon session, finishing ahead of Sergio Gadea and Sandro Cortese.
